Though this report focuses on Kiwi men, it is not just men in New Zealand who have felt pressured to have sex with women. Given cultural norms that suggest men should always be ready for and interested in sex, many men - if asked - will say that they have felt pressured to have sex with women they didn't want to have sex with or else that they felt pressured to have sex with a woman they liked/loved but just didn't want to have sex with at the time. Ideally, women and men might both try to learn something from this - to have sex when they want to, when they feel it will be pleasurable (not necessarily orgasmic, but pleasurable) and when they're certain that their partner wants to as well. And also, of course, that no one should pressure or beg for sex which sounds much more like coercion that consent.
