Michelle Obama's role as "mom-in-chief"

There has been much discussion, ever since the election, as to how Michelle Obama will balance her new role as First Lady and her all-time and all-important role as mom to two young daughters. This recent piece on CNN explores motherhood choices in relation to race; a recent Salon article explored issues related to how parenting responsibilities often fall on mothers - perhaps, especially, when the father is the President of the United States.
